About the role

You will embed directly with a client's Defence programme, acting as a senior delivery partner with accountability for outcomes. You'll diagnose constraints, restructure governance, and drive pace — not advise from the sidelines.

What you'll do

  • Lead programme diagnostic and constraint analysis
  • Design and implement accelerated delivery governance
  • Build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships
  • Champion AI-enabled working practices within client teams
  • Contribute to Xcelo's delivery model and methodologies

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years in Defence programme delivery or consulting
  • SQEP credentials in programme management (e.g. APM, MSP or equivalent)
  • Experience working at pace in complex, politically sensitive environments
  • Proven ability to challenge and influence at SCS/OF-6 level
  • Security clearance eligibility (SC minimum)

About the role

Drive digital exploitation across Defence programmes — helping clients get more out of what they already own. You will deploy tooling, build digital confidence, and engineer practical AI integration at the point of constraint.

What you'll do

  • Assess client digital maturity and tooling against programme needs
  • Design and deploy targeted digital engineering interventions
  • Build AI-enabled workflows and digital operating models
  • Deliver uplift training and confidence-building for client teams
  • Champion "exploit before you build" principles

What we're looking for

About the role

Help clients restructure how their programmes are commercially organised — aligning incentives to delivery outcomes. You will work directly with programme leadership to design performance-driven commercial frameworks.

What you'll do

  • Advise on procurement strategy and supplier management

About the role

Build and deploy the AI-enabled tooling that helps Xcelo and our clients work at mission speed. This is a hands-on engineering role — you will prototype, deploy, and iterate AI integrations that have immediate programme impact.

What you'll do

  • Design and build AI-powered workflows and data pipelines for programme delivery
  • Integrate LLMs and automation tools into client environments
  • Develop bespoke programme analytics and reporting dashboards
  • Ensure secure deployment within Defence-grade environments
  • Work directly with programme teams to identify and solve constraints

What we're looking for

  • Strong Python / TypeScript development skills
  • Experience with LLM APIs, RAG systems, and AI tooling
  • Familiarity with secure cloud environments (Azure GovCloud preferred)
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, outcome-focused environments
  • DV or SC clearance (held or eligible)
